Richard Wolman's extensive experience and research with personality testing in relation to the dating and matchmaking process allows him to apply theory to practice in coaching singles searching for meaningful relationships. Taking the Personality Inventory provides clients with increased self-awareness to improve communication and strengthen relationships. Personality profiles give clients, as well as Peggy and Richard, valuable information to better inform initial interviews. Richard's wisdom and years of experience as a psychologist, combined with Peggy's pragmatic skills, offer clients insightful and practical dating coaching and matchmaking options early on in the process.
A member of the Harvard Medical School faculty, Richard works with couples and singles as a psychotherapist, coach and mediator. He is also an Affiliate of the Boston Law Collaborative, where he consults with lawyers and families experiencing divorce and child custody disputes. As President and Research Director of PsychoMatrix, Richard adapted and integrated a Personality Inventory for over 15,000 singles, providing them with self-awareness and language to better describe themselves in any interpersonal setting.
As part of his research, Richard created a measure of spirituality, the PsychoMatrix Spirituality Inventory (PSI), taken by over 12,000 people from all corners of the globe. The PSI can be found at psychomatrix.com and gives each participant a confidential three-page report describing his or her spiritual experience. In his book, Thinking With Your Soul: Spiritual Intelligence and Why It Matters, Richard proposes that, "Spiritual Intelligence is the human capacity to ask ultimate questions about the meaning of life and to experience simultaneously the seamless connection between each of us and the world in which we live."
"Dr. Wolman's kindness, non-judgmental attitude, and brilliance transformed my life after my contentious divorce. He helped me find the confidence I needed to look for love again."
